The Prodigy from Springfield Armory takes the proven 1911 platform and enhances it with a double-stack design and a performance-driven feature set. Finished in durable Coyote Brown Cerakote® the Prodigy features a polymer grip mounted to a forged steel frame that accepts the included 10-round magazines for capacity-restricted states. The double-stack magazine feeds a 4.25-inch bull barrel with an 11-degree crown for match-grade accuracy. Optics-ready the Prodigy utilizes AOS (Agency Optic System) plates with an integrated rear sight allowing for proper sight alignment and an intuitive sight picture.
